ONE-HOUR DESIGN CONSULTATION
Our one-hour design consultation is available virtually or in-person! Our one-hour design consultation is ideal for those looking for help with paint colors, finish selections, space planning, electrical planning, build plan review, kitchen and bathroom design, and furnishings.
For those with large scale construction or furnishing projects in mind, it is also the jumping off point for our team to see your home (whether in person or virtually) and to dream with you about its potential. We walk through the project site with you to fully understand your practical and functional needs for your home, design goals, and your individual style. We share openly our design ideas for the space, and the boots-on-the-ground experience allows us to provide a fully developed proposal and investment outline should you decide to partner with our team on your project!
The one-hour design consultation package is $500 and includes the following deliverables: a Project Discovery Call with Tera Janelle, a TJD design survey in preparation for the consultation, up to one hour of virtual or in-home consultation time, and a written summary of the consultation and recommendations.
FLAT-FEE DESIGN PACKAGES
Clients who find our flat-fee packages to be an ideal fit typically need help with the design portion of a project, such as evaluating moving walls, floor plan design, custom cabinetry design, materials selections, and furnishings design, but are comfortable partnering with contractors and trades on their own to oversee the construction, ordering, and installation process. CAD: FLOOR PLANS- A floor plan is one of the most important aspects of a well-designed home: it defines the core function and flow of the spaces. Many times we generate several versions of a home’s proposed floor plan, allowing clients to fully explore the potential within their home.
CAD: ELEVATIONS - Once the floor plan is fine tuned and approved, we move onto elevations. For detailed room such as kitchens and baths, we often draw multiple elevations, detailing the four walls of a room as well as potential millwork design, tile layouts, a reflected lighting and electrical plans, etc.
DESIGN BOARDS - A room’s Design Board is a visual specification of the design selections for the room, serving as a cohesive reference for how the finishes, fixtures, and furnishings will work together within a room’s design. For renovations and new builds, design boards specify all elements that impact construction, from tile and flooring to plumbing and lighting. We then dive into furnishings, from the furniture pieces to rugs, lamps, artwork, window coverings and accessories.
FULL SERVICE FURNISHINGS
We want you to walk in and feel instantly at home! Our "turn key" furnishings design handles all of the details, down to stuffing the pillows and steaming the drapes. From space planning and paint selection, to detailed CAD drawings, design boards, budget and trades management, product ordering and receiving, and final furnishings and accessories installation. Our concierge "full service" furnishings process takes your home to furniture installed, draperies hung, and candles on the table Final Reveal!
Saving you the stress of finding contractors, sourcing furniture, coordinating trades, tracking orders, meeting deliveries, and unboxing all those boxes, our concierge furnishings services handle for you each step of the planning, design, quoting, procurement, and installation process, transforming your home to a magazine ready space!
Minimum design fee expenditure for full service furnishings starting from $10,000. Those design fees cover the hours worked by and overhead of our design team. Contractor and trade costs, furnishings, fixtures, and materials are billed separately. Design fees based on size and scope of project.
RENOVATION & NEW BUILD DESIGN
Construction and renovation design is our speciality! From kitchen and bath remodels to new construction homes, our team specializes in full scale concept-to-completion construction to furnishings design. With over 17 years experience in construction and renovations, Tera and team partner with clients and their builders from the ground up. We serve as your planning and design resource through every detail of the construction process.
The first step in our design process is to book a complimentary Discovery Call to discuss your needs, expectations, budget, and timeline. If our process and availability meet your project needs, we are excited to meet you at our design studio or via Zoom for a complimentary meeting to become more acquainted with your project. If our services and partnership are a fit, we are ready to see your home (or build plans)! We'll schedule a one-hour virtual or in-home Design Consultation ($500) as a jumping off point to share openly our ideas for your space and to develop a proposal for your project.
