A Wisconsin farm girl who fell in love with the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia, Tera Janelle adores nearly every type of cheese, sunny days, classic interiors, and the perfect shade of greige.

In 2007, Tera launched her interior design company, now eponymously Tera Janelle Design. With projects ranging from beach houses and new builds to mountain estates and historic homes, Tera specializes in full scale concept-to-completion construction to furnishings design.  Her work has been featured throughout Virginia design publications and published nationally at, House & Home,, and in Domino Magazine.

Married to her high school sweetheart, Tera and her husband reside in Lynchburg, Virginia with their twin girls. If she's not at work, you'll find Tera in flip flops with her family at the ocean, obsessively strolling historic neighborhoods, or hunting for the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco meal in the sunshine.

Bekah has been an integral part of the Tera Janelle Design team since 2017.  She has extensive experience in design, AutoCAD, and project management.  Her attention to detail and warm, genuine nature ensure clients have a great client experience and the details of their project are beautifully executed.  Bekah has a degree in Interior Design from Liberty University, building on a lifetime of experience growing up in the construction industry.

Bekah hails from Cleveland and grew up amidst construction alongside her father, a Cleveland firefighter and talented contractor.  He taught Bekah the ins-and-outs of construction, from site measures to laying a stone patio to installing a roomful of tile. She spent her growing up years working closely beside him in all aspects of construction.

In addition to her love for construction and design, Bekah is a self-proclaimed  homebody who loves hosting friends and family, crafting charcuterie, and mixing the perfect cappuccino. Bekah and her husband also enjoy renovating their first home, trying local breweries, and cooking together.  They are proud parents to two girls and a rambunctious black lab.

Amanda is a senior at Virginia Tech studying interior design. She enjoys the cumulative process of designing, from initial client meetings, to hand-sketching concepts and floor plans, to generating 3D renderings, and finalizing material selections.

During her time at Virginia Tech, she has had the pleasure to partner in the design of a Washington-based co-working space, a Roanoke brewery, and a renovation concept for Shanks Hall on the Virginia Tech campus.  She has received special accolades for her design concepts and her realistic Revit and Photoshop renderings.

Born and raised in Evington, VA, the Virginia mountains continue to be an inspiration for Amanda. She enjoys hiking the Cascades Trail and landscape photography. When not on the hiking trail, Amanda loves Virginia Tech football games, and Mexican Cuisine (even Taco Bell will do, but especially La Carreta).

Anna Kay Greenwood Headshot -3.jpg

From a long line of interior designers, Anna Kay spent her life cultivating a passion for beauty and creativity, and followed in her grandparents' footsteps by pursuing residential interior design.

Her family's formal, traditional style fostered her love of blue and white chinoiserie and stained wooden furniture, while her childhood home of six, and often many guests, taught her the cruciality of functionality.

Born and bred a Tar Heel from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, Anna Kay and her husband reside in Lynchburg, Virginia. In their free time, they enjoy scenic drives on the Blue Ridge Parkway, exploring antique stores, and sitting at their favorite local coffee shops.

Anna Kay is presently completing her degree in Interior Design at Liberty University and will join our team full time this May!
